About Lotux Defrost
The winter months can cause many problems, such as iciness caused by (night) frost and snowfall. The solution is Lotux Defrost, a series of effective de-icing agents that provide a safe working environment without harm to people, animals and the environment. Road salt is often used but it has many harmful consequences. First of all, road salt affects metals and concrete, it is harmful to the environment and it will melt snow and ice only slowly.
Long-Lasting
Lotux Defrost works 5 times longer and 30 times faster compared to road salt. As soon as Lotux Defrost comes into contact with snow or ice, it will immediately give off heat. This means you don’t have to grit as often and ice and snow are defrosted many times faster. In addition, Lotux Defrost is effective for 1-24 hours, which means it can also be used preventively.
Environment & certification
Lotux Defrost is safe for people, animals and vegetation. Using Lotux Defrost will not harm nature. Even when Lotux Defrost gets into the groundwater it will not cause any damage! In addition, Lotux Defrost is produced in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, HACCP, GMP+, EKO/SKAL and NEN. The product may therefore also be used in environments where people work in accordance with these certifications and guidelines.
Safe for materials
Unlike road salt, Lotux Defrost contains an anti-corrosion component, which makes it safe to use on almost any surface. This makes it possible to use Lotux Defrost on concrete, metals, painted and varnished surfaces and rubber. De-icing a car park, construction site or shopping street has never been easier!

Our plant was closed in 2010 when there was a shortage on salt. Thanks to Lotux Defrost we were able to get the wohle plant ice-free. To our suprise, the plant was ice-free in the morning after we used Lotux defrost the evening before!
